How Renting Works

Renting a dress from À La Mode is simple, flexible, and stress-free. Here's everything you need to know.

1. Browse & Book

Browse our collection and select the dress you love. Choose your rental dates and complete your booking online. We recommend booking at least 5–7 days in advance to ensure availability. Book for the day of your event and the dress will arrive 1-2 days before your event.

2. Try On Appointments

Not sure about sizing? Book a try-on appointment at our St Clair, Dunedin location to find your perfect fit before committing to a rental. Check the booking page for try-on availability.

3. Receive Your Dress

Your dress will be freshly dry-cleaned and ready for your event. Pick up in Dunedin or arrange delivery — we'll confirm the details with you after booking.

4. Wear & Enjoy

Look and feel amazing at your event! Our dresses are sourced from premium brands including Bec + Bridge, Aje, Rat & Boa, and more.

5. Return

Return the dress at the end of your rental period. Please refer to our Rental Terms & Conditions for full details on late returns, damage, and our damage waiver.
